As Chief Operating Officer, Colleen oversees the agency’s budget and financial planning and ensures day-to-day operations run smoothly. She approaches her role strategically, focusing on maintaining efficiency and supporting the organization’s continued growth and stability.
Colleen holds a degree from the University of Iowa College of Business and brings over 20 years of accounting leadership experience within the insurance industry. While she works primarily behind the scenes, she plays a vital role in supporting human resources, managing payroll, remitting client payments to carriers, and maintaining strong relationships with industry partners. Her work helps ensure MEDPLI’s physician clients continue to receive the seamless service they expect.
Colleen is proud to be part of the team that makes MEDPLI a trusted resource for physicians seeking medical malpractice insurance expertise and exceptional customer service.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three children and four grandchildren. On weekends, she can often be found attending music shows or visiting wineries while helping manage her husband’s blues band.
